The Village of Murray recently received a Lean on LARM Safety Grant. Shelli Hayes, Village of Murray Clerk/Treasurer, applied for the $500 grant to purchase a hammer drill/impact driver combo kit and a reciprocating saw tool.
"These tools will allow the maintenance operator to more efficiently and safely remove and replace pipe during water break/leak events and sewer line repairs," Hayes said.
The League Association of Risk Management (LARM) offers the safety grant to its members so that they can purchase safety items for their communities.
